Day 1: Adventure in Gunung Tunak – A Coastal Odyssey (Medium Tracks)

• Your journey kicks off at 9:30am riding in a  little known National Park.
• Traverse the breathtaking landscapes of Gunung Tunak National Park, where rugged cliffs meet serene beaches.
• You’ll explore hidden gems like Sari Goang and Gili Penyu, discovering pristine, untouched coastlines and private beaches as the sun begins its descent.
• Terrain includes jungle, hills, clifftop overhang and beaches all with panoramic vantage points.
• Sunset BBQ on the Beach: As the day fades into twilight, indulge in a local-style BBQ on the beach, featuring freshly caught fish.
• Feel the ocean breeze as you dine under the stars.
• Overnight in Kuta Lombok: Why not go check out the vibrant nightlife of this surfer’s town?

Day 2: Coastal Cruising from Kuta Lombok to Selong Belanak (Easy-Medium Tracks)

• Start your day with a leisurely breakfast before hitting the road at 10:00 AM.
• Your ride will begin on road, and verging off road and on to rocky coastal trails that weave beside traditional Sasak houses, lush farmlands, and thriving plantations. Ascend hilltops and pause at scenic vantage points that offer panoramic views of Lombok’s southern coast.
• Midday Break and Exploration: After a well-deserved lunch break, continue your journey down rugged tracks toward Pantai Semeti. Along the way, take a break at the surf hotspot of Pantai Mawi, where you’ll likely meet locals – the island’s water buffalo.
• Afternoon Beach Drag Race or Leisurely Ride: Unleash your competitive spirit with a beach drag race for a prize, or opt for a leisurely cruise along the empty shoreline.
• As the sun sets, ride to the highest elevation in South Lombok, where golden hour paints the landscape in warm hues.
• Evening Arrival and Dinner: Arrive at your Selong Belanak hotel around 7:00 PM, just in time for a delicious dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 3: Conquering Gunung Mereja, Buwun Mas & Sekotong (Medium-Hard Tracks)

• At 9:30 AM, ease into the day with a ride through the picturesque countryside, winding your way through Sasak villages and expansive open landscapes en route to Gunung Mereja.
• Into the Jungle: Enter the dense forest trails around Mereja, where narrow, verdant paths present a thrilling challenge for intermediate riders. Navigate the varied terrain, from tight, twisting paths to broad, open stretches, with occasional obstacles and dramatic elevation changes. Reach the summit for breathtaking views over Lombok’s southwestern coast.
• Scenic Lunch Break: After a rewarding descent, pause for lunch at a scenic spot, soaking in the tranquility before the next leg of your journey.
• Afternoon Challenge at Buwun Mas: Your afternoon ride takes you to the start of the Buwun Mas trail, where the real adventure begins. Navigate through dense jungle foliage, sharp turns, and steep inclines. The ride culminates with expansive views that make every challenge worthwhile.
• Evening Arrival at your collection of villas in Sekotong: As the day winds down, arrive in Sekotong for a well-earned banquet style dinner and overnight stay. Relax by the pool with a Bintang and unwind!

Day 4: Sekotong to Sesaot (choice of easy, medium or hard tracks)

• Begin your day at 9:00 AM, riding on road from the South West coast of Lombok to central Lombok to meet jungle trails and earthy paths that snake through dense foliage.
• Encounter rocky stretches, tight gullies, and steep slopes that keep the adrenaline pumping.
• Meet the occasional local lady carrying her jungle fruit finds on her head and cross numerous bamboo bridges.
• Waterfall and Blue Lagoon: Take a on route dip in a secluded waterfall with dramatic jungle scenery surrounding it. Cool off in clear waters, enjoy a natural back massage from the cascading waters.
• Continue down jungle paths until reaching our lunch spot.
• Local Lunch and Afternoon Ride: Recharge with a local lunch before resuming your adventure. This time to a naturally occurring blue lagoon, tinted by the minerals in the water, and shrouded in local legend.
• Afternoon ride presents a mix of intricate paths, and varied elevations with jungle scapes at the top.
• Arrival at Bonjeruk: Finish the day’s journey around 5:00 PM at our basecamp in the historic village of Bonjeruk (the village our team calls home).
• Enjoy a family-style dinner at a popular local warung, complete with a live traditional performance.
• Option to settle in for the night at your nearby hotel or join the team and get your first taste of Tuak, Lombok’s traditional alcohol at the local watering hole where you never know who you’ll meet, run into or share stories and experiences with – builders, village politicians, mechanics, tour guides, the local brewer.

Day 5: Bonjeruk – The Ultimate Challenge and Cultural Immersion 

• Morning Mystery Ride: Kick off the final day with a half-day ride through challenging tracks that will test your mettle.
• The Urap-Urap mystery ride is designed to push you to your limits while offering a thrilling conclusion to your adventure.
• Local Lunch and Cultural Exploration: After a hearty lunch at a local warung, delve into the rich history of Bonjeruk, the oldest village in central Lombok.
• Discover the traditional process of making Tuak, a local moonshine crafted from palm trees, and immerse yourself in the local culture. Find out the story of its creation and about the different varieties.
• Farewell and Departure: Wrap up your adventure at 4:00 PM with a special memory box to commemorate your journey. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences as you prepare for your departure.

We’ll stop at a mix of local warungs and restaurants serving European and Indonesian food along the way.

Breakfast is included in the package price. Lunch and dinner is not.

Four Nights accommodation (private double rooms) with breakfast is also included in this trip.

Meeting point is usually at Lombok Praya International Airport or Bangsal Harbour.

We’ll collect you and transfer you to your Kuta Lombok Hotel, where bikes will be waiting.
